the room was a disaster, noise from the tram and vexing bars below were unbearable. i also expected a welcome gift for enduring this chaos but of course, that didn’t happen. breakfast was absurdly mediocre, and the staff seemed to have taken a vow of silence—I almost thought it woudl ve been a decent stay, but I just couldn’t.

Breakfast served on the fifth floor offers a stunning view of the city, providing a pleasant start to the day with a variety of hot and cold options. The old part of the hotel exudes charm, with a cozy atmosphere and even the windows can be opened for a breath of fresh air, a rarity in many places.
Noise from street traffic and nearby pubs can be bothersome, especially for lighter sleepers, so plan on bringing earplugs if you're sensitive. Some corridors could use better soundproofing, as voices and footsteps echo down the hall. Amenities, like the bar area, feel uninviting and outdated, which makes you less inclined to stick around for a drink.

great walking distance to main attractions and local dining options
I really appreciated how easy it was to stroll to places like Wenceslas Monument and the National Museum. The area has a great selection of restaurants and cafes just a few steps away. it made my stay all the more enjoyable.

Had a great time with friends! The apartment was spacious and perfect for our group. We loved exploring nearby sites like the Vinohradske Theatre and DinoPark. A decent walk to the Royal Route was worth it. The breakfast had great options, and the location felt safe and welcoming.
One downside was that some corridors could be a bit noisy at times, but it didn't ruin our fun. A bit of soundproofing would definitely help in the future.

comfortable stay but lacks modern charm
The room was a reasonable size, with old fashioned air conditioning that kept the room warm, but I appreciated being able to open the windows for fresh air. Breakfast exceeded expectations for the price, providing a decent selection. I found it convenient to have several bars and eateries nearby, which made dining out easy. Wi-fi access was reliable, allowing me to stay connected during my visit.
The décor felt dated and could use a refresh.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the tasty breakfast options and the hot coffee that hit the spot! The hotel has a cozy garden area perfect for relaxing with a book or soaking up some sun. The room could have been a bit cooler, but it didn’t take away from my overall experience. ☕
